At Elephant Nature Park, caring for more than 100 rescued elephants begins long before feeding time. Every day, several tons of fresh fruits, vegetables, grass, and corn stalks are delivered to the sanctuary to meet the elephants’ nutritional needs, as they absorb only about 40% of the nutrients they consume.

In the Elephant Kitchen, dedicated staff and volunteers work together to prepare every meal with care. Special diets are created for elderly elephants and those with health conditions, using soft foods and finely chopped plants to make eating and digestion easier.

More than just a place to prepare food, the Elephant Kitchen is at the heart of the sanctuary’s daily care. Every meal represents not only nourishment but also compassion, helping rescued elephants regain comfort, dignity, and a better quality of life.
